The goal of the TravelRelief programme is to help charities and non-profit organisations raise money for good causes by providing their supporters with a way to book hotels at great internet rates and contribute money at the same time without paying extra. How does it work?
When customers make hotel bookings on www.travelrelief.org Expedia will donate at least 8% of the hotel booking price to the Family Holiday Association. For example, if a customer books a hotel stay for £300, Travelrelief.org would donate £24 per transaction to the charity. The programme runs in partnership with Hotels.com, a subsidiary of Expedia Inc., so generally users will find the same or very similar hotel rates on www.travelrelief.org as on Hotels.com and Expedia.com sites.
