The families we help are marginalised. For them, a holiday is not a luxury; it is an essential break to help them cope with difficult circumstances. It may also be their first ever holiday.

Referrals arrive from:

1. Social workers

2. Health visitors

3. Voluntary and statutory agencies

4. Charities such as Barnados
   and NCH

5. GPs

All applicants need to meet the following criteria

1. The family are on a low income

2. The family have not been on holiday for the past four years

3. The family have at least one child of three years of age or over

4. The family have been referred by a welfare agent
