A family enjoying a break in Skegness
How the Family Holiday Association can help
13 July 2010
We expect to help over 2,000 families with a break during 2010

Please note the 2010 funding round is now closed.  Are you happy to be the family’s welfare agent? Does the family have a dependent child aged between 3 and 18? Is the family on a low income?  Has the family not had a holiday for at least four years?  If the answer is yes to all these questions, the Family Holiday Association may be able to help with a family break.

If you have a child with a severe disability you should know about the Family Fund!
The Family Fund gives grants to lower income families with severely disabled children for things that make life easier and more enjoyable.
The Family Fund is the largest charitable sector grant-maker to families, giving around £29 million to about 48,000 families each year. The Fund helps with things to meet the additional needs of caring for a severely disabled child such as holidays, washing machines, driving lessons, computers and hospital visiting costs. All funding comes from the governments of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
