Read broadcaster John Carter's views
Every year thousands of people in the UK die without leaving a Will. They have no say about the money and belongings they leave behind. This can cause problems and anxiety for relatives and friends, and the Inland Revenue may take a large proportion of their assets.
By writing a Will you make your wishes known and can ensure your money and possessions are given to those you choose. Any gifts to charity are free of tax, and are deducted from your estate before Inheritance Tax is calculated.
If you already have a Will, please consider adding a codicil to include The Family Holiday Association. John Carter, the former TV presenter of Wish you were here...! has written a leaflet all about leaving a legacy to the charity. If you would like a copy please e-mail now and we will put a hard copy in the mail to you or you could down load a pdf of the leaflet by clicking here.
