Watch our short video
Russell Amerasekera, of BBC1's Perfect Holiday, fronts
a short (3 minute) video about the Family Holiday
Association and the families we aim to help. We
hope you find it interesting and a good introduction
to our work.
Russell
is joined by
well-known travel
journalist
Alison Rice and a host of families we
have helped over the years to give you a brief but
compelling overview of our work and to explain why we
regard access to holidays as really important for
families affected by poverty.

News: Monday 18 August 2003
BBC Breakfast News covers story

BBC Breakfast filmed
Susan Burgess who has five children and claims benefits. She
can't afford to take her children on holiday - you can also
see the film featuring her by clicking on the link below.
The report was followed by a
studio discussion involving another family and John McDonald
the FHA's Director. The BBC web site only carries a report
from earlier that morning featuring
Barnados and a commentator - still
very much worth a watch!
